Seven Months

Monday marked the two month countdown to my due date - January 10th. In some ways, I feel like I have been pregnant for much longer than seven months. In other ways, time has flown by! The reality that there is a by-product of being pregnant is starting to hit me. I suppose the fact that I am no longer working and have LOTS of time to dwell on this isn't helping! The nursery is coming together, Tommy and I are in the midst of several childbirth classes (we finished infant CPR and childbirth prep this week!), and for lack of a better phrase, I am feeling large and in charge! The pictures below were taken on Monday, and I really don't think they do justice to my size. Don't get me wrong, I am not enormous (yet), but simple things like bending over are becoming harder and harder. I have been working out a lot, but I am still winded after climbing a flight of stairs. Even friends have commented when talking on the phone that I sound out of breath. Oh well, I guess it comes with the territory!

I take terrible side profile pictures! Oh well, you get the jist, right?

At my last doctor's appointment, my OB told me that I am measuring about two weeks ahead of schedule. This does not necessarily mean that I will go into labor early. It just means that I could have a big baby. Have I mentioned that Tommy was 10 pounds when he was born and I was 8 pounds? Oh dear...
I leave a week from today for Indianapolis. Tommy and I are spending Thanksgiving there, and we are excited to see my family and friends for one last hurrah. After that, we will be confined to the greater Seattle area until Baby B arrives. I am not sure if I'll post anything before my trip home. If not, check the blog the first week of December for lots of pictures and updates!
