Baby Bligh is due one month from today! From some aspects, my pregnancy has flown by. From other aspects, it has been a LONG eight months. Since finding out I was pregnant, Tommy and I sold our condo in Chicago, moved across the country, changed/lost our jobs, and got settled in Seattle. It is truly unbelievable to think about how much my life has changed in one year, even eight months! I think the baby's arrival started to hit me yesterday as I was doing laundry. I've started washing all of Baby Bligh's clothes... and when I went to pull everything out of the dryer, I was overwhelmed by the number of little things that fell onto the floor - socks, onesies, socks, receiving blankets, and more socks. Tommy and I have also started putting things together, so our home is slowly becoming cluttered with pack-n-plays, bouncers, bassinets, etc.
Last night, my wonderful hubby came home from work carrying flowers. He also gave me a card (well, technically, the card was from "baby") that said I have appointments next week for a prenatal massage and pedicure! He (I mean, the baby) is so good to me! I am excited for a little pampering. After all, the doctors do not stop labor should anything happen after 37 weeks. Better get those toenails painted!
Below are a couple of pictures taken today. Tommy has a meeting tonight, so I took these pictures by myself. I'll try to have him take some better ones later this week.
The sales woman at Babies R Us today told me that I looked like I was going to explode. I wanted to slap her (and call her a few names), but instead, I bit my tongue and left the store as quickly as possible. Who knows what my belly will look like after another four weeks!

You would think they would train BRU sales-people better than that! She is so wrong as you look so adorable....and that husband of yours isn't too shabby either! Is he going to fly me out there to go with you? :)
