Two Months Old

Our Sweet Pea
Taylor will be two months old tomorrow (Friday). I can't believe it. In some ways, the past two months have flown by. In other ways, I feel like I've known Taylor forever. She has certainly changed my life (and Tommy's) for the better. She's our little peanut, and we love her so much.

Tommy and I were laughing the other night about our new way of communicating. Instead of talking to each other directly, we now talk indirectly through Taylor. Here's an example:

Tommy (to Taylor): "Hi pumpkin! What time do you want to go to church tomorrow? Do you want to go out for brunch afterwards?"

Ali (to Taylor): "Tell daddy that you would rather go to the 11:00 service since that is right after your 10:00 feeding. Then mommy can enjoy brunch without having to hurry home to nurse you."

-OR-

Ali (to Taylor): "Since we're so comfy on the couch, maybe daddy will bring mommy a glass of water..."

You get the point. These conversations go on and on. We're pathetic.

At two months old, Taylor is developing a little personality. She now cooes, sighs, and has these huge, bright smiles. When she is not happy about something, she lets you know. This girl has some lungs! Her favorite things are her bouncy seat, swing, and being held up to someone's shoulder. She likes to look around and take everything in, as evidenced in the picture below.

We are starting to get on some kind of schedule. She usually goes to bed around 9:00 and sleeps until 2:00 or 3:00 (yea mom!). Then, she'll go back down until 6:00 or 7:00. As you can tell from these pictures, we enjoy having her around us whenever possible...

Sleeping in mom's lap
Napping with mom on the couch
Hanging with dad while he does some workI could post hundreds and hundreds of pictures, but lucky for you it's time-consuming to do so!
