Fall Festivities

It has been a busy fall. First, I must confess that I am a very lucky girl. Since Labor Day weekend, I have been out of town (without children) three times: spent a weekend in Naples, FL with my college girlfriends, spent a weekend in Monterey, CA with my best friends from high school, and went away to Port Townsend, WA with Tommy for a belated anniversary trip/babymoon. To top it off, Tommy and I are flying to NY on Wednesday for his cousin's wedding on Long Beach Island this weekend (a HUGE thanks to Mimi for flying out to watch T&M!).

All that said, the few weekends I've been home, we've been on the go with the kids. We've been to a festival (Newcastle Days), birthday parties, cookouts, the Puyallup Fair, and the pumpkin patch. We've stayed pretty busy during the week days too, trying to squeeze in some activites before it becomes more difficult to get out. There has been no rest for the weary in this pregnancy, but watching the smiles on my kiddos' faces makes the exhaustion worthwhile.

Some pictures:

Matty watching his big sis get her hair cut. He's due for one soon.. the mullet is in full effect!

Princess hair-do

Checking out the animals at the Puyallup Fair. Poor Matty was too young to go on any rides, so this was his excitment for the day.

Tommy and I were pretty nostalgic that our little girl was able to go on these swings by herself. She looked so big... and so happy!

Snoozing (thankfully!) while sissy goes on all the rides.

Grocery shopping at the Seattle Children's Museum

We had the whole "grocery store" to ourselves.

Matty lining up the trains at Kids Qwest, another local museum.

Lazy morning at home.

Bouncing on a huge inflatable pumpkin at the pumpkin patch. Momma sat this one out.

Me and my girl on a hay ride.

Siblings on the cow train.

A little apple picking...

... and some pumpkin picking. Look for carved pumpkin pics in a few weeks.
