Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving last week. We have so much to be thankful for, yet we still take so much for granted. One of my biggest goals as a parent is to teach my children that they are blessed beyond comprehension with a nice home, clean water, a safe environment and abundant love. They are still too young to fully appreciate all that they have, but it is of utmost importance to me that they learn to count their blessings.

I'll let the pictures recap our Thanksgiving.

Artwork galore - both from Taylor and Matty

More artwork from my budding artist.

We ran a 5k on Thanksgiving morning - the Issaquah Turkey Trot.

Our friends, the Stone's joined us. A little exercise was a great way to start our day of gluttonous behavior!
My little guy took his morning nap during the run.
Brayden's 1st Thanksgiving
Not many people can say they celebrated a first anything after turning one - it just so happens that B's birthday was after Thanksgiving last year and before Thanksgiving this year.

Ready to chow!

All that yummy food, and the first thing Matty attacks is applesauce. Oh, to be a kid!

Check out Matty's face during the prayer.
Dinner time!

B is was fully engaged in dinner time!
