Matty has a little girlfriend. Her name is Mia. She is blonde, shy, and speaks German as a first language. Her mom first told me that Mia had a crush on Matty during a class fieldtrip in October. Since then, we have made an effort to get together for playdates. Yesterday, we met at a park because it was sunny and 60 degrees, a true rarity in January! Mia recently returned from a five-week trip to visit family in Vienna and brought Matty a present. She could not wait to give it to him.
I can tell already that my little boy is going to be a heartbreaker!
