Soccer Season

Taylor and Matty wrapped up their soccer seasons yesterday. It was a miserable day, weather-wise. It rained and rained (over 2 inches - again!) and it was dark the whole day. God bless my Seattle-kids; they got out there and played their soccer games without too much complaining.

Both Matty's team, the Golden Dragons, and Taylor's team, the Orange Angels, were undefeated this year. How awesome is that? The kids are becoming great little soccer players, and both had many goals and assists throughout the season (Matty, my numbers boy, tells me he had 20 goals; not sure about Taylor but she had maybe 7-10).

We celebrated Taylor's soccer season with a pizza party at The Rock this afternoon. We will return to the same restaurant on Monday night to celebrate with Matty's soccer team. I am very proud of the kids for their enthusiasm and dedication. They loved going to practice and games and loved being a part of a team.

Brayden - soaked, cold, and hungry - not happy that he has another soccer game to attend after this one is over. What a trooper!

Coach James and his Dragons having a pep talk after their last game. Still undefeated after two seasons together!

Taylor and Julia are somehow still smiling through the cold and rain.
