Thanksgiving

We did it! We hosted 16 people for Thanksgiving. It was chaos but fun, and thankfully, everyone got along. We had an abundance of food and drinks. The kids enjoyed having their younger cousins in town, as well as crazy Uncle Ryan and new Aunt Brandi... and let's not forget that Alexa's boyfriend Ethan joined us too! I'll let the pictures do the talking.

I have not made many turkeys. This bird was well-loved. He was brined for 24 hours before I rubbed him with a butter seasoning. I think he was a hit.

Sweet Matty let Baba comb his hair for the special day (Baba used to do this when he was a little guy).

Table is set!

Cheers!

I think this was Ethan's first Thanksgiving away from home. We sent this picture to his mom.

The feast is ready!

We had a nice dinner. We went from youngest to oldest and shared all that we are thankful for.

We ate leftovers for days and days.

... and we played lots of cards.
