Taylor's first dance competition ever was last night. She has wanted to compete with dance for several years, but right when she was ready to audition for a compete group, Covid hit. During Covid, she quit dance, took a year off, and then returned. I cannot articulate how much she loves dance. I am so happy she is back at it!
Taylor and her group competed in the teen jazz small group category. I did not know what to expect, as it has been YEARS since I've been to a dance competition. This competition was a smaller one, but it was perfect for the girls to get their feet wet. They looked awesome on the stage... more than anything, they were having fun. So. Much. Fun.
At the end of the night, they were awarded top marks in their category along with 1st place in their division. It was a great first experience for Miss T.
