Rising Leader

Last week, Taylor was awarded the "Rising Leader" award during the ASB awards night. This award was a special one, as the entire class (comprised of freshman through seniors) voted on this award. Taylor has worked so hard to be a good leader, not just for her class but for her school and the district. Tommy and I are beyond proud of her success.

Additionally, Taylor was awarded the "Guardian Angel" award. Every student that was elected to an ASB role was given an award at the banquet, and this was the award given to Tay. I wish I had a video of the speech from senior who presented the award to Taylor. She said the most wonderful things about my girl - along the lines of her caring heart, desire to take care of everyone, organization, etc. 

Next year, Taylor will be the "Female Senator" of the ASB Exec Board. I do not understand why she wanted to run for this office; I thought being class president was pretty awesome for her this year. She says Exec Board is more important, and she hopes to run for President of Exec Board her senior year.
