Today, Tomorrow, or Wednesday?

Here's the latest and greatest scoopage: I received a not-so exciting phone call from my doctor on Friday afternoon. The hospital is booked and cannot induce me until Wednesday, 1/21. After being told on Friday morning that I would likely be induced today, 1/19, I was pretty bummed to learn I'd have to wait it out another two days. I've known all along there was a chance I could go past my due date, but 11 days is borderline unacceptable! Had someone told me that Obama would be president when the baby is born, I would have said "Nonsense!"

After pouting all weekend (and seeing two great movies - Gran Torino and Slumdog Millionaire), Baby B is finally responding to my pleas for her to come out and meet us. I've started having contractions. Ummm... not fun. They are not super intense at this time, but nonetheless, they are a sign that labor is starting. I hope that I'm admitted to the hospital tonight or tomorrow and won't have to be induced at all. Otherwise, Wednesday should be the day. Time will tell.
