Upgrades

This post has nothing to do with Little T, but I thought I'd share some updates from the homestead. Tommy and I have been working on the main level bathroom for the past couple of weeks, and it is almost done. By no means are we experts, but we are pretty proud of ourselves for stripping wallpaper, spackling the walls, painting, staining the cabinets, and replacing the toilet, light fixture, mirror, and other hardware. I've included a few pictures. A special shout out goes to Jen Schrock. We loved the color of her bathroom during our visit to her house in Denver last summer, so we "stole" it. Thanks Jen!

Before shots: Note the lovey wallpaper, border, and gold fixtures
Wallpaper is down and toilet is out; lots of spackling to do...
Walls and cabinets are sanded; ready for paint and stain.Ta-Da!

Also, we had our entry way, hallway, office, and bonus room painted a couple of weeks ago. We are slowly getting rid of the "Perky Peach" theme color that was once painted throughout the entire house. Whoo hoo! I still need to take pictures of the finished product. Stay tuned.
