On Saturday morning, Tommy and I hosted a Halloween party for my PEPS group. We had 10 babies, 2 toddlers, and 18 parents here for about three hours. You know your life has changed when your Halloween party starts at 11:00 AM instead of 11:00 PM! It was fun to see all the babes in their Halloween costumes. We tried to get a cute picture of them, but it was just too hard with so many active 8-10 month olds. Since all of the moms and babies get together weekly, it was nice to give the husbands an opportunity to get to know each other. After all, we plan to keep this group going for years to come.
Saturday night, Taylor spent the night with grandma and grandpa while Tommy and I went to a Halloween party in Seattle. Our friends Fletcher and Steff throw a party every year, so it gives us an excuse to dress up and go out. This year, Tommy went as Captain "Sully" Sullenberger, and I went as the bird that hit his plane and forced it into the Hudson River. Our costumes looked very homemade! It's the creativity that counts, right? Our friends Jake and Kiki came over before the party to help us hand out candy and watch the World Series, so we got ready together. Jake dressed as the tooth fairy (I think he's always wanted to wear tights and a tutu), and he hand-made Kiki's tooth costume. Very fun!
Needless to say, Halloween this year was WAY more eventful than Halloweens in the past. I am actually starting to like the holiday!
This is another attempt - notice how the lamb is crawling away and the astronaut and lady bug are toppling over Taylor.
