It is certainly more fun to celebrate the holidays with a little one, and I know it will only get more fun from here. Heck, Taylor doesn't even understand what's going on yet, but Tommy and I have had fun celebrating with her.
The day after Thanksgiving, Tommy, his parents, Taylor, and I went downtown to shop, look at the Christmas lights, and have Tay's picture taken with Santa. I'm not sure who thought it would be a good idea to wait in line for two hours at Nordstrom (which is headquartered in downtown Seattle and is therefore, a very popular location), waiting for the five-minute opportunity for Taylor to sit on Santa's lap. Yet, the five of us waited, and waited, and waited. As you can tell from the picture below, Taylor was a bit dazed and confused by the time she met Santa. I love that she is about to pull his beard off!

Last week, we took Taylor to Snowflake Lane in Bellevue. Snowflake Lane is a nightly celebration just outside Bellevue Square filled with music, street performers, and fake snow made out of soap suds. Tay enjoyed watching all the characters.
Dinner just before Snowflake Lane. I had to document Taylor eating her first French fry.

Then, last weekend, we took Taylor to the Reindeer Festival at Cougar Mountain Zoo. I think Miss T enjoyed watching the Tigers more than the Reindeer, but oh well. It will be more fun next year when she understands a little bit more and enjoys more of the activities (like face painting, story time with an elf, etc.).
More Christmas cuteness to follow!

What great Christmas pics! You've really hit the highlights. I want to check out snowflake lane in Bellevue, but the Cougar Mountain Zoo may need to wait until next year. Too many fun things to do! Taylor looks very cute and ready for Christmas!
