Below are a few pictures of Taylor playing around the house. She is getting so big! At 14 months, she is still not walking, but as you can tell, she is all over the place. I spend way too much time following her around and trying to keep her out of trouble. She loves to stand in the window, play with mommy's laptop and blackberry, open cabinets and drawers, turn the water in the bathtub on and off, crawl up and slide down the stairs, and walk around the couch and coffee table. Her vocabulary is developing too. Aside from the occasional "mama" or "dada," she now says "dah" (duck), "ke" (key), "ba" (ball), yea, and uh-oh.
This visual will be one of my favorite memories of my toddler. I love watching her crawl over to the window, pull herself up, and stare outside like she's waiting for someone to come over.

Taylor loves putting her links on as bracelets now. She is a little diva already. She also enjoys playing with her foam letters and putting the inserts into her pockets (as evidenced in the center pocket of her overalls).

Playing on mommy's laptop. It's all fun and games until she starts pulling the keys off!
We have had a busy few weeks. Two weekends ago, we took Taylor to the aquarium to indulge her growing fondness of fishies. Last weekend, we traveled to Phoenix for some NCAA basketball watching, spring training games, and a visit with Mimi, Grandpa, Aunt Bette, Uncle Rod, cousins Julie and Laura, and several of Tommy's friends. This weekend, three of my girlfriends from Butler came out for a visit. I love the time I have with my girls from college, but this weekend was extra special because Butler made it to the Final Four! It was so fun to watch the Elite Eight game with them, as I don't know another Butler alum in Seattle. Tonight (Sunday), I am working to update the blog and am agonizing over whether to book a trip to Indy next weekend. Butler... in the Final Four... in my hometown... It seems like a no-brainer when I write that, but then I start thinking of the expense, disruption to our schedule/plans, exhaustion associated with traveling with a little one, etc. Oh, what should I do?
Anyways, look for more posts in the next day. Lots of pictures, video, and stories to come.
