Woodland Park Zoo

I am a bit behind on posts. I am amazed that even though I only work part-time, I have very little time to sit down and update this blog. I suppose it is because Taylor is so active now. Gone are the days of checking my email or using the computer while Taylor plays beside me. Oh no, those days are over. Taylor now lurches for the laptop whenever she sees it open and loves to rip off the keys.

Anyways, Tommy and I took Taylor to the Woodland Park Zoo last weekend (5/8). It was a beautiful Saturday morning. Apparently, every other parent in Seattle thought the same thing because the zoo was... well, it was a zoo! Taylor loved seeing the animals. Her typical response after seeing an animal, whether it be a tiger, elephant, or zebra, was to wave and say "Hi!" She is also getting in to animal sounds now. She loves to say "woof woof" when she sees dogs. In fact, she says "woof woof" when she sees about any four-legged animal. She also says "meow" when she sees a kitty cat and "mooo" when she sees a cow. And she loves to smack her lips together when she sees fishes. I am sure that was the first of many family outings to the zoo. We'll get better pictures this next time...
