Summer in Seattle

Summer has flown by! Sadly, we did not have much of a summer here in Seattle, as the weather has been unseasonally cool. However, Taylor did enjoy a few days in the pool, and we enjoyed several visits from friends.

Watching "Mo Mo" (Elmo) with daddy on a Saturday morning.

Mommy's little helper - Taylor likes to clean her messes after mealtime.

Helping Aunt Em make banana bread. My two best friends, Sara and Emily, came out for a long weekend in late July, and sadly, this is the ONLY picture I have from the weekend. I suppose we were having too much fun to stop and pose for pictures? One evening, out of nowhere, Em started clanking through my kitchen/refrigerator. When I asked, "What are you doing!?!" Em declared that she was going to make banana bread (from scratch). One reason I love Em and our friendship is that she always makes herself feel at home when she's with me. So, Taylor helped Aunt Em make the bread while Mommy and Aunt Sara showered. :)

Taylor's first coloring book. Artist in training.

More pictures of the pool.
Playing with Emery (1 year) and Milo (2.5 years)
Playing outside. Look at those skinny little legs!

Enjoying a weekend in Lake Chelan. First life-jacket.

First time on a Sea Doo. Taylor was SO EXCITED to get on this but then hated being out in the water.
