Two Month Stats

At two-months, Matthew weighs 13 pounds, 8 ounces. Given that Taylor weighed 13 pounds, 12 ounces at six months old, Matty seems enormous to me.  Tommy and I were both surprised to learn he is still in the 50th percentile for weight, though.  He is 23.75 inches long (75th percentile) and his head circumference is 16 inches (70th percentile).  He is balding and stocky just like the men in the Akers family, but the jury is still out as to who he resembles most (Daddy? Mommy? Uncle Ryan?).  Regardless, he continues to melt our hearts on a daily basis.  As you can tell from the picture above, he is smiling and cooing all the time.  I just love love love his dimple. He is still nursing every three hours during the day, but he has slept through the night twice.  Most nights, he only wakes up once around 2 AM.  We can't wait to see his little personality develop, but we are not wishing these precious days away!
