I am two weeks in to my new role as a SAHM, and we are finding our groove. I will confess that being home all day, every day, is hard. It is especially hard with the extra 23 pounds of baby that I am carrying around. Throw in the physical exhaustion of chasing after my 16-month old and the emotional exhaustion of arguing with my 3.5 year old, and this momma is tired. However, I do not miss working yet. We are staying busy with all of our activities. In fact, I am enjoying the down-time this Friday afternoon while Taylor is watching TV and Matty is taking a long nap.
Taylor started preschool a week ago Tuesday. She goes three mornings a week from 9:30 - noon. She is in a new school this year - it is a tad bit closer to our house and there is a huge gymnasium for those oh so frequent rainy Seattle days. Fortunately, the transition has gone smoothly. Taylor appears to be adjusting and making new friends. She also has swimming lessons twice a week and dance lessons once a week. I was hoping all of these activities would wear her out and maybe I could get her to nap once or twice a week, but no such luck. My little bundle of energy just keeps on going!

Matty is into EVERYTHING. I know this is typical behavior of a toddler, but I don't remember Taylor being quite this inquisitive. Yesterday, I left him in the playroom for 5 seconds while I walked into our attic, and he draw all over the wall with a pen. Today, as I was unloading my grocery cart to check out, Matty grabbed a container of mayo and threw it into the aisle. It exploded everywhere; the cashier had to close my line. Matty proceeded to blow kisses and wave while cashier and bagger cleaned up.
On Thursday mornings while Taylor is in school, Matty and I are going to Gymboree classes. I am so happy I am able to have some one-on-one time with him. He loves Gymboree so far. He has no interest in listening to the teacher or following instruction, but he loves to climb on all of the equipment.

| A glimpse of Matty at Gymboree. And yes, his long hair is starting to look like a mullet. :) |

Baby Bligh #3 is growing and growing. At 30.5 weeks, I was measuring 33 weeks. I believe this was the case while I was pregnant with Matty, so instead of getting excited that I could deliver early, I am preparing for a big post-term baby. Two months to go. Time to pull out the baby gear from the attic, wash the newborn clothes, and pick a name. It is safe to say I am in full nesting mode.

| I can't believe I am sharing this picture. I am huge! But it was a moment of cuteness when Matty nuzzled my belly and said "Baby!" |
