B's First Haircut

Brayden had been sporting an awesome mullet for weeks, so Tommy and I caved and got his hair cut yesterday. Our baby boy no longer looks like a baby. He is all toddler now! My heart just melted while I watched him get his first hair cut. He was a total gem and barely made a fuss. The whole family was there to witness this big event. I'm pretty sure Brayden loved all of the attention.

The "firsts" are coming to an end. No more first holidays, first foods, first teeth, and now there is no longer a first haircut to anticipate. Of course, Brayden has yet to say his first word, so I suppose we have that to look forward to. His big sister and brother do all the talking for him.

How cute is this guy?

This picture was taken last weekend. Look at that mullet!

Getting settled into his "plane" chair with his new friend, Sarah.

Sarah was very sweet to Brayden.

Here we go!

Look at that big boy!

The new do after a blow dry and style. :)

Like Matty, he got a lollipop to celebrate his first big boy haircut.

Unlike Matty, he could not say the word "lollipop," or as Matty said, "goppy-gop" (granted, Matty was two months older). I am starting to realize how few words Brayden has at this age compared to Matty. Obviously, it is not a competition, just an observation.

Brayden looks so much better, and older, now! I am curious to see if he keeps his blonde hair or if it turns dark like Matty's did. Time will tell...
