Halloween

TMB had a great Halloween. I will certainly miss silly holidays (like Halloween) when the kiddos are older. Taylor and Matty decided what they were going to dress up as by mid-September, we decorated our house on October 1st (Tommy LOVED the Kleenex ghosts hanging from our ceiling for 31 days), and we soaked up every Halloween activity - pumpkin patches, carving pumpkins, school carnival, trick-or-treating at daddy's office, etc. On Halloween night, we went to our neighbor's house for pizza and then spent a good two hours trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. Brayden made it to every last house with his brother and sister! It took him a while to catch on to the whole dress-up thing, but once he figured out that he got candy at each house, there was no stopping him.

Now, if only I could figure out a way to make all of this candy magically disappear...

We hosted Taylor's PEPS group for our annual Halloween party. Taylor has literally grown up with these kids - I was in a mommy group with all of their mommies when they were just weeks old.

Matty's preschool field trip to Kelsey Creek Farm. I love that Brayden grabbed a pumpkin and photo-bombed the picture.

This was the longest Brayden sat still the entire morning... and that was about 5 seconds. He was exhausting! He was way more interested in jumping in puddles around the farm. Thank goodness is was a beautiful morning and there were not many puddles.

Thank you, Microsoft, for the pony rides on Halloween!

All dressed up and ready to go!

Taylor's stash of candy
We put a very tired Brayden to bed, and then Tommy, the kids, and I watched "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown", drank apple cider, and went through candy. Lots of memories made.

As Taylor pointed out at the end of the night, there are only 364 days until we get to do it again!
