Matthew the Mathematician

I got a phone call from one of Matty's friend's moms today. She called to tell me about her cute conversation with Matty at preschool drop-off. She asked Matty how he was doing when she dropped her son off, and Matty said, "I'm good, but I'm still three and three-quarters." She responded and said, "Well, every day you are one day closer to four!." His response? "When I turn four, my pop pop will still be sixty-six and a half."

This kid is obsessed with numbers. Guess I can't blame him - look at his parents!
