Brayden is really talking up a storm now. He has new words and phrases (and dare I say sentences?) every day. Below is a list of some of the cute things he says:
- Mommy, me happy! Mommy, you happy?
- I toot a-gain.
- Pop Pop go home.
- Papi all gone, in trash.
- More applesauce. I eat!
Brady says letters and numbers now. While this pales in comparison to Matty at his age (Matty could say and recognize every letter of the alphabet before age two), Tommy and I are still pleased with his progress. B loves to count, although he skips numbers three through seven. So, when he counts, he says, "one, two, eight, nine, ten!"
He also does this thing where he points to something and says "Wooook!" He will continue to repeat "wook, Wook, Wook Mommy, WOOK!" until I stop and say the name of the object he's pointing toward. Simply acknowledging him is not enough. For example, when we walk Taylor to the bus stop, Brady will say "Wook, Mommy!" and point to mailboxes or sprinkler heads. If I say "Yes, Brayden, I see it," he will continue to say "wook wook!" until I say "Yes, Brayden, that is a mailbox," at which point he'll say, "O-kay!" and move on. He's a persistent little bugger.
I wish I could capture all of these little sayings on video. Brayden is at such an adorable age. Me happy! You happy?
