Taylor lost her first tooth today! She is soooo excited! I am bracing myself for a 5:00 wake-up call tomorrow when she comes in to tell me what the tooth fairy left for her.
Taylor's tooth has been loose for a few weeks. She played with it incessantly (with her fingers and tongue) and it has been hanging in her mouth since last weekend. When she came home from school today and the root of the tooth was exposed, I convinced her to let me give it a small tug. She relented after I told her she may lose it at swimming lessons, and then it could get lost in the pool. Sure enough, I barely pulled on the tooth and it was out.
She looks pretty darn cute with a gap in her mouth. The tooth fairy left her a teeny tiny note and two silver dollars.
Better get to bed myself - early morning tomorrow!
