1st Day of Preschool/1st Day or Pre-K

I have waited 6.5 years for this...

All three of my children had school today! I had 2.5 hours to myself, and it was amazing!

The boys started preschool at Newport Covenant Christmas Preschool this morning. This is Matty's 3rd year of preschool and his 2nd year at this particular school. He has several friends in his Pre-K class, including Lucas, Mia, Brynn, and Lily from last year's 3's class. He had no problems saying goodbye to me when I dropped him off.

Brady started school for the 1st time ever this morning and was a total firecracker. He was super excited and literally bounced into his classroom. I have to admit that it was a good feeling to say goodbye to the boys, knowing they are in great hands, while I watched so many parents with children clinging to their legs. I pretty much skipped to my car, sipped my coffee, and enjoyed those 150 minutes to the fullest!

Once we got to school, they had all sorts of signs for photo ops. Brayden turned on the cheese here.

I snapped this picture of Matty as I was walking out of his classroom. He was cautiously walking up to the table to say hello to Brynn.

And then I dropped Brayden off in his classroom. Does he look timid?

He bounced his way into the room and never looked back!
