Christmas 2018 was nice. The month of December was FULL of activities (I'll let the pictures do the talking below). Taylor performed in her fourth Nutcracker as an angel. The 8th Annual Christmas Eve-Eve Party was a success. We went to church on Christmas Eve and then went out to dinner at Wild Ginger with Grandma and Pop Pop. Brian, Kristen, Emery, and Josie flew in on Christmas Day. Santa brought Taylor virtual reality goggles, Matty a new bike, and Brayden an Xbox One X. Tom cut his hand open while slicing bread for Christmas dinner and ended up in the ER for stitches. It was our usual, chaotic, Christmas. I tried to be intentional about slowing down this year and relishing in the magic of the season, but I think I was only somewhat successful. I would love for my children to think less about the gifts they receive and think more about THE GIFT that God gave to us. I will work on that again next year.

| The kids and I went to Great Wolf Lodge on 12/5. They did not have school on 12/5 or 12/6 for Parent/Teacher Conferences. Last year and this year, several parents opted to have early Wednesday morning conferences and then take off for GWL.The kids have a blast playing together - it is a toss up whether they like the water slides or arcade more. |

| Matty won big in the arcade (with some help from his buddy Jack Burdick). I got to juggle the tickets. |
