Back in Business

My laptop is back up and running! Hallelujah! After five weeks with the Geek Squad, it is back in my possession. I am slowly getting caught up on emails, pictures, videos, and yes, my blog!

We had a great visit in Indiana. Taylor was a champ. The worst part about traveling with her was that she blew through two outfits on the flights to Indy (must have something to do with the altitude or air pressure?). Otherwise, she barely cried on the plane and even let out her first belly laugh when a nice man sitting next to me starting snapping his fingers at her. Tommy and I were able to make the trip to Chicago without our little peanut in tow. Thankfully, Taylor took a bottle from my mom without making a fuss. That made our weekend away much more enjoyable knowing that Taylor and Mimi were happy and having fun together!

I will post more pictures soon. I need to transfer a bunch from Tommy's computer to mine first.

In the meantime, here are a few pictures from my PEPS group. PEPS is a Seattle-based organization that stands for "Programs for Early Parent Support." I joined a group in March with 10 other moms and 12 other babies (yes, there are two sets of twins in my group). We meet every Monday morning and usually get together about one other time during the week. Having this group of new moms to talk with, vent to, and play with has been so very helpful during this transition to motherhood. During one of our meetings in May, we put the babies in a circle and took a few pictures. Aren't they cute? Keep in mind that there are three babies missing from this picture, so we'll have to get another one when all the moms/babies are present.

In this picture, Taylor is at 1:00.

Note that Taylor is holding her friend Mia's hand in the picture below. So sweet.

More details and pictures from Indiana to follow!
