Go Yankees

As most of you know, my husband is a HUGE Yankee fan. When we first started dating and Tommy told me he liked the Yankees, I had no idea how much of his life revolves around this MLB team. The Bligh household lives and breathes for the New York Yankees. We have a NYY checkbook, we had a NYY cake at our wedding, we have dozens of NYY pictures (which are, fortunately, still waiting to be hung in our new house), and now our daughter has several NYY outfits. Needless to say, this is a big week for us. The Yankees have not been to the World Series since Tommy and I met in 2004 (they had previously been to or won the Series in 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2003). So, I have been deemed the curse. Thank goodness Taylor joined our family this year because she is her daddy's good luck charm.
