My little man turned six months old yesterday. We celebrated by giving him his first antibiotic. Matty has been fighting a cough/cold for almost two weeks now. I debated whether he needed an antibiotic, but now that he's on one, I wish I'd started it sooner. He was so happy today - I can tell he's feeling better already.
When Matty went to the doctor for his cold last week, he weighed 15 lbs, 3 oz. He goes back to Dr. Quinn this week for his six-month well visit, so I will post his official stats then. As you can see in the pictures below, his hair is filling in, and it is super blonde in some areas.
Matty is already showing signs of crawling. When he is on his belly, he pushes himself up with his arms, and he is starting to try to pull his knees underneath him. He is eating like a champ as well. To date, he's had rice cereal, sweet potatoes, and peas. He continues to attack the spoon, and I can't feed him fast enough!
Matty Boy is so delicious. He is cuter and cuter every day! I can't get enough of this little guy. Happy Half-Birthday, Matthew.
