Halloween 2011. I think it's safe to say that Halloween was the best night in Taylor's 2.75 years of life. She had an absolute blast. My mom, Tommy, Matty, and I accompanied Taylor to the houses in our cul-de-sac, and then Tommy met up with a neighbor and his daughter for the rest of the trick-or-treating. Tommy said that four-year-old Ella could not keep up with Taylor as she sprinted from house to house. Taylor yelled "Come on, Ella! Come on, Ella! I'm the leader!" She canvased the neighborhood, long after Ella and her daddy called it a night. She returned home with the coldest little hands I've ever felt, but she was in heaven. The best part is that she's rarely asked to eat her candy, so hopefully she won't notice that I gave it all to my co-workers.
Originally, Taylor and Matty were going to be Dora and Boots for Halloween. When Taylor's Dora wig arrived in the mail, however, she didn't like it and had trouble keeping it on. So, she quickly flip-flopped and decided to be a princess. Oh, how I loathe the princess thing, but I could not squash my daughter's Halloween dream. Taylor told all her friends that she was Princess Dora for Halloween, but as you can see in the pictures, there is nothing Dora about her costume! Matty still looked super cute in his Boots outfit. Too bad no one understood the story behind his costume.

| Note the little pumpkin next to Matty. It is carved into an "M" just like Taylor's first pumpkin was a "T." |
