We spent Thanksgiving week at Mickey's House, otherwise known as Walt Disney World in Orlando. Tommy's parents have been dying to take their granddaughter to meet Mickey, so this trip has been on the calendar for months. All the build up did not disappoint - Taylor was in absolute heaven.
We are still recovering from the time change, the long flights home, and the exhaustion of spending
most of last week at Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. So, this post will be short. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed seeing Disney through a child's eyes. Taylor was fascinated with all the characters, princesses, and fairies. The adults loved the parades and fireworks. Disney truly puts on an amazing show, and it is really is one of the happiest places on earth.
Poor Matty started having diarrhea the day before we left, along with the most awful diaper rash. I initially thought he was teething, but the diarrhea never stopped the entire 9 days we were gone! I think I visited every bathroom in Disney World to change his diapers. We made one trip to a pediatrician in Orlando, and he's been to visit his pediatrician now that we're home. Dr. Quinn was amazed that Matty has gained weight (now 16 lbs, 5 oz) despite the fluids he's lost. Matty is on soy formula until his tummy settles down and then we'll go back to the normal stuff.
Below are a few of my favorite pictures from our trip. Thank you, Grandma and Pop Pop, for a wonderful time!

| Main Street at Magic Kingdom |

| Meeting Mickey and Minnie - I was surprised at the amount of time we were able to spend with them, taking pictures and "talking". |
| Magic Kingdom Day 2 - Taylor now wearing a "princess" skirt, Mickey shirt, and Minnie ears. |

| Family photo with Pop Pop and Grandma |
| Taylor driving the race car - I love that I can barely see her little head peeking over the steering wheel! |
| The ears look good on Matty-boy. |
| Taylor talking to Ariel (The Little Mermaid) - she also met Belle (Beauty and the Beast) and Aurora (Sleeping Beauty). I laugh that I know these types of things now. :) |
| My only picture of Matty on Thanksgiving. He vomitted up an entire bottle and bowl of applesauce about five seconds after this picture was taken. |
| A common sight at Disney - Taylor in her new "uniform" and Mommy wearing Matty in the Ergo. |
| Taylor with Chip and Dale |
| Mickey shirts! |
| Family photo at Epcot |
| Taylor (wearing all her new accessories - necklaces, watch, and bracelet - she is such a girly girl) and Tinkerbell |
