Fun Facts about Brayden

Thought I'd share a few tidbits about our new little guy:

1. Brayden: Tommy and I initially discussed the name Brayden when I was pregnant with Taylor. Once we learned we were having a girl, the name was not brought up again until I was pregnant with Matthew. At that time, we opted against Brayden because we did not want to have a "Tay" and a "Bray." However, by pregnancy #3, we still liked the name and figured it stood the test of time. We realize Brady is a common nickname for Brayden, but Brady isn't sticking with Brayden like Matty did for Matthew. Who knows what nicknames we'll come up with in the coming weeks/months?
2. Michael: Brayden's middle name is in honor of my dad. Each of our sons' middle names is after a grandfather (convenient that Matty's middle name covers both his dad and his grandpa!).
3. Brayden shares a birthday with his maternal great-grandmother Louise (my mom's mom). She was born 11/27/1927 and would have been 85 the day he was born. He also shares a birthday with his maternal great-great-grandmother Ruth (my dad's dad's mom). She was born 11/27/1893.
4. As many of you know, my brothers are about 18 months apart in age, just like Matty and Brayden. My dad discovered that Scott and Ryan are 572 days apart and so are Matthew and Brayden. They have the same age difference to the day. Pretty cool.

Okay, enough for now. Back to nursing, laundry, sibling bickering, messes galore, and what is becoming our new normal.
