My baby is three months old today. As much as I love Brayden's emerging personality, it saddens me to put his newborn pajamas away. B is growing quickly. He is morphing into his "look" - he no longer has the newborn, "we have no idea what he is going to look like" look. He is changing daily. His smile is contagious. When he wakes me up in the middle of the night (on a side note, I am sad to report that he has not slept through the night ONCE yet), it is hard not to smile when he sees me and lights up. I don't want to break his spirit despite my own exhaustion. He bats his long eyelashes at me, and I fall in love with him all over again. B loves to coo and tries so hard to talk.
B's favorite place to hang out these days is perched on my shoulder. He loves for me to hold him so he can look out and observe the world (this is also a place where he knows he is safe from his brother and sister). The unfortunate thing about this is that it is not possible to hold B all the time. I would LOVE to carry him everywhere, but it is just not possible. I have done everything from cutting fruit to wiping poopy bottoms while holding B, but there are times when I must give 100% of my attention to Taylor or Matty. Sigh. I realized the other day that Taylor had rolled over by this age. I have no idea if Brayden could roll over at three months because I never lie him on the floor. It is too dangerous with T&M constantly running and jumping. Bray spends most of his awake time in the swing or bouncy chair... and the bouncy chair is typically on the kitchen counter. :)

Brayden's first Super Bowl. We had some friends over and tried, somewhat successfully, to have the kiddos watch a movie in the other room.

First smiles were around 6 weeks old. Smiles have gotten even better and the baby acne is gone now.

Brayden's first play date with Owen Tamfer, born two weeks before him (even though his momma's due date was 3 days before mine). I love this picture because you can see Matty's car, skateboard, and snack next to Owen and Brayden. 'A' for effort, Matty!

We love you, BB! Here's to a first giggle, a first full-night's sleep, or maybe a roll in month four.
