Thank You, Microsoft!

Yesterday, Tommy returned to work after taking a month of paternity leave. Microsoft has amazing benefits, mostly related to health care and discounts at local restaurants and museums. However, the four-weeks paid paternity leave is my favorite perk! I can't say we did anything too special while Tommy was off (okay, we did go to Arizona for two weeks - more on that later), but it was soooooo nice to have him around the house on a regular basis. It was the first time since having Brayden that I felt I could stop and breathe. Granted, I couldn't stop for long. :) There were many, many times that I tried to embrace the moment/take a mental picture because I am acutely aware of how fleeting this time will be. Little B is growing before my eyes, little Matty is about to turn two, and Taylor is four going on fourteen. As chaotic as my house is these days, I love these little people to death. I am so grateful that Tommy and I had the opportunity to enjoy them together over the last month. Now, back to reality...
