The kids' (particularly Brayden's) newest TV obsession is the Nick Jr. show "PAW Patrol."
Led by 10-year-old Ryder, the plucky pups of PAW Patrol are rescue dogs in training. Each pup is inspired by a real-world job like fire fighter, police officer, and construction worker. When trouble strikes Adventure Bay, they're there to save the day! Whether it's a cat in a tree or a train off the tracks, they always find a way to help those in need.
Almost everything Brayden received for Christmas was PAW Patrol-themed: games, a DVD, socks, slippers, most of the pups' vehicles and figures, the Paw Patroller, the Paw Patrol Lookout Playset, and clothes. Brayden has the Ryder, Marshall, Rocky, Rubble, and Zuma figurines, so Matty and I ordered the Skye and Everest figurines for Taylor for her birthday. Matty is bursting with excitement to give these to her.
I hate to admit this, but I don't mind watching the show. Tonight, Tommy had to work late, so the kids and I snuggled in my bed and watched an episode. It was 30 minutes of snuggle time with my babies. As Taylor gets older, there are not many shows that she and her brothers agree on, so I am grateful for PAW Patrol tonight. :)
