Brayden has a new fascination with conveyor belts. He is obsessed. His loves baggage claim at the airport, sushi (because the restaurant serves the food on a conveyor), and the check out line at the grocery store. Tonight, as the boys were picking out books at bedtime, Brayden grabbed a book and opened it to a picture of a conveyor belt. I wish I could capture his high pitched squeal, "Look, mommy, a conveyor belt!" Last week, the boys and I went to pick Tommy up at the airport. Against my better judgment, we parked the car and went inside to greet him. I will never forget the panic I felt when I lost Brayden in the airport and the smile that came across my face when I found him, on his knees, in front of a baggage carousel. His hands gripped the side of the carousel and he squealed each time a bag came out. The waiting passengers giggled at my sweet boy. The best part is that Tommy carried his bag on the plane, so we didn't even need to be in the baggage claim area.
I love observing Brady and his fascinations - from trains to conveyor belts. I wonder what will be next?
