"I Want You"

Oh, how I love my little (but growing!) B and his funny little sayings. Last night, long after bedtime, he showed up in my office. My initial response was annoyance because I cannot seem to get anything done without interruption, but then I hear him say, "Mommy, I want you." He shuffled into the room and climbed into my lap. How can I be annoyed by that?

"Mommy, I want you."

I never want to forget that phrase.
