Beach House

PARADISE

Last weekend, my mom, Tommy, and I headed up to Tommy's parents' beach house in Ferndale, WA. The house is about 20 miles from the Canadian border, and it has beautiful views of the San Juan Islands and Vancouver Island. We had a nice, relaxing weekend, complete with lots and lots of food. I go back to the doctor tomorrow for my monthly checkup, and I dread to find out how much weight I have gained in the last few weeks!

Above is a picture of Tommy and my mom after Tommy set the grill on fire! The torched planks of wood are in the bucket. Our pork tenderloin was a bit charred and tasted of cedar, but it was still yummy.

Saturday night, we sat around the fire and even made s'mores! It was a great weekend! This weekend, I am getting together with Sara and Emily in San Francisco, so look for an update and pics of that trip next week. Can you tell I'm trying to travel as much as possible before I am "grounded?"
