This past weekend, Tommy and I both flew to Northern California to visit friends. I saw my BFFs from high school; Tommy saw his friends from b-school. Sara flew out from Indianapolis, and she and I spent the weekend with Emily and her family - husband Ryan, 2-year old Avery, and 6-week old Isabel. The girls are so cute!

While we were in town, we headed up to Wine Country. Our friend from high school, Kathy, and her husband, Josh, live in Santa Rosa. They moved there in early 2006 so that Josh could start a winery with a friend from Purdue. The winery has been a huge success, and it was really cool to see the "behind the scenes" work that Josh does. It is harvest season now, so thank you to Josh for taking time out of his busy schedule! Although I couldn't taste the wine (which was torture!), I bought a half case and can't wait to enjoy it next winter.

Between the four of us, we have (or will have) five daughters!
The next day, Sara, Em, and I got Starbucks, took Em's daughters and dogs for a walk, went shopping, and had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. I cannot thank Sara and Em enough for talking me to Babies R Us and helping me with my registry! I am so lost when it comes to baby stuff!
