Taylor had an awesome Easter. We kicked off the festivities at the neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt the weekend before Easter. T took her time picking up eggs and proceeded to methodically open each one before moving on to the next. It was a good lesson for me that Easter egg hunts are not about getting the most eggs but enjoying the experience. Thank you, Taylor, for reminding me of that! I got some super cute videos but am having trouble uploading them tonight.
On Easter morning, Taylor had a blast walking through our house collecting Easter eggs. Rookie error - the Easter bunny filled the eggs with jelly beans and M&Ms, so our angelic daughter was on a major sugar high during and after church and proceeded to crash hard at Easter brunch. I'll be sure and tell the Easter bunny next year to put toys/trinkets inside the eggs instead of candy! After a good afternoon nap (for both mommy and Taylor!), we headed to Grandma and Pop Pop's for another egg hunt, another basket from the Easter bunny, and Easter dinner with family and friends. All in all, it was a great holiday.
